The charitable booster club Sternstunden, the benefit action of the Bavarian broadcasting services, takes responsibility for ill or disabled children or children in need. The club acts for more than 20 years in Bavaria, Germany and other regions of the world. With the help of many people, Sternstunden had, since its foundation, the possibility to collect more than 220 millions of euros and to support over 2,850 children's aid projects. Each donation is inured to 100 per cent to the projects. In order to guarantee the conscientious use of the given donations, all incoming applications for support are checked in a broad controlling process.
